Do I need to learn configuration ?

If you are a SAP consultant, of course you need to learn SAP configuration. It's the beginning of everything...to make something from nothing. How if you want to work in a company that has SAP implemented ? It's not a necessary to learn configuration in the first place. Learn a module of SAP functional. It's better.
